A Ugandan lawyer and legal scholar currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Makerere University.
My primary areas of interest include governance, human rights, social justice and public interest litigation.
I am currently the Head of the Network of Public Interest Lawyers (NETPIL), an umbrella body that brings together individuals, law firms and non-governmental organizations with a commitment to engage in public interest litigation to achieve social justice in Uganda
I am the Managing Partner at JW Advocates. I am also the Board Chair of the Legal Aid Service Provider's Network (LASPNET).
I am a member of the Uganda Law Society, the East African Law Society and the Global Alliance for Justice Education (GAJE). I am also a co-opted member on the Governance Group of Action for Justice (A4J) - a group of NGO’s united to support public interest litigation worldwide as a means to advance social justice.
